The best way to learn how to write a professional SEO marketing article or SEO blog post is to ‘deconstruct’ one that has all the components for top search engine placement.
The SEO marketing article we are going to deconstruct here was written on WordPress system running the Agent Theme by StudioPress. The Website, CharlotteRealEstateVoice.com, was built by GET FOUND NOW. Website Grader gives the site a moz4 ranking and an overall website score of 94%.
Let’s take a look at some of the components of the SEO marketing article below, titled “ABB Adds New Jobs to the Charlotte, NC Area.” The article was published under the category of Charlotte NC Relocation.
SEO Marketing Article Heading Tags – “Engineering, Technical and Production Jobs for the Charlotte Area” and “Charlotte Real Estate and Relocation Specialist,” are h2 heading tags. They let people and search engines know what the article is about and help organize content. Avoid using h1 heading tags within a post because the main title is an h1 heading tag. Use h2, h3, h4 heading tags that support the main title and build topic authority.
SEO Marketing Article Images – Notice that all the images within this SEO marketing article include title/ALT text descriptions. Search engines can’t read images, but they can read code and you should always include a title/ALT text for SEO.
SEO Marketing Article Keywords – Notice that the article is not overly keyword focused and doesn’t need to be for top search engine placement.
SEO Marketing Article Links to Website Pages and Marketing Plug - The article links back to 4 website pages. The website has around 20 area profile pages that can be linked to for deep link navigation. This article links to the Huntsville, NC page. The marketing plug at the bottom includes a link to the property search, about page, online contact form and also includes phone numbers. You want to give people options for contacting you and always include your contact info in every post.

ABB Adds New Jobs to the Charlotte, NC Area
GOOD NEWS on the employment front for the Charlotte area this week! On Thursday, Governer Bev Perdue announced that ABB, the leading power and automation technology group, will build a new plant in Huntersville, NC and will be looking to fill 100 positions.
The Swedish–Swiss company also plans to add an additional 30 jobs at its North American headquarters in wake County, NC.
ABB is expanding in order to meet the growing needs of power infrastructure and renewable energy. The company will invest $90 million in the new Huntersville facility, which is slated to be operating by early 2012.
The plant will manufacture high-voltage and extra-high-voltage cables used for improved power transmission over long distances, while lowering environmental impact.
Engineering, Technical & Production Jobs for the Charlotte Area
ABB will hire a mix of 100 engineering, technical and production positions for the new Huntersville plant. The overall average wage for the new jobs will be around $64,008, which is higher than the average in Mecklenburg County ($48,776) and in Wake County ($42,692).
ABB is the world’s largest provider of transmission and distribution equipment and technology for the power grid. The company operates in around 100 countries worldwide and employs about 117,000 people.
ABB currently employees around 770 people state-wide in manufacturing and other facilities including their Corporate Research Center, Power Products and Power Systems Divisions, all of which are located on the Centennial Campus of North Carolina State University.
The company will receive state grant money for the project from the Job Development Investment Grant program and One North Carolina Fund. ABB is eligible to receive a grant equal to 67% of the state personal income withholding taxes for each of the 9 years the company meets annual performance targets, up to $2.149 million maximum benefits.
“We have a very good and long standing relationship with the sate of North Carolina,” said Enrique Santacana, region manager for ABB in North America. “The proximity to transportation, top-notch engineering and an attractive living environment made Huntersville an excellent choice for this facility,” Santacana went on to say.
“Creating jobs is my top priority and this multi-county investment and expansion by ABB is a win for the regions and our state,” said North Carolina Bev Perdue.
