I am left once again to preach my own tried and true strategy for online success that I have done so many times before (because it works). Be YOURSELF. Write from your GUT. Write REAL and engaging LOCAL content that speaks to people at the HEART and SOUL level. Then and only then, go back into your humanistic post and optimize it for the search terms you are going after, for topic and LOCATION authority.
Google 3.0 is all about LOCAL SEARCH which was just released last Thursday. So what does that mean for you? It will benefit Realtors to roof cleaners or any other business you are in. If you are smart, you will follow the same SEO game plan with Google maps and Google Places we have been preaching for years – Own your own territory with great LOCAL content that speaks to people and you will succeed!
What This all Boils Down to When it Comes to Sub-domain IDX
Blog about happening events, lifestyle and news going on in your specific niche market and LOCALE as well as relevant real estate info mixed in with property search. Also, beware of wrap sites that give you sub-domains tht allegedly promise you SEO. That sale pitch is to get you onboard and is a BIG FAT LIE.
Their claim is that they will get you thousands of indexed pages, but unfortunately all of your competitors using the same system have the exact same pages. Does that sound like a sensible online marketing strategy?
